The meaning

The song’s core is a request for rescue from someone who has run out of other options. The hook keeps asking “Who can I turn to?” and answers itself with “No other help I know, I stretch my hands.” The gesture in the title is a reaching out with open hands, and the post-chorus names what is wanted: “I just wanna feel liberated.” Kanye West said he cried while writing the track and that he loves his father 1, so the “Father” being addressed carries real personal weight and is not just a churchy flourish.

The obvious rival reading is that the song is mostly a crude sex rap, since the verse opens with the narrator talking about sleeping with a model 2.
